I have found a new program which I have grown to love.   Take a look at the evernote program--- www.evernote.com    It has won awards such as a webby.   There is a free version and an upgraded one for a fee.   It is a great way to take notes off the internet. It is very easy to make notes that you can read off line. You can download text, jpeg or audio clips. The free version gives you 60MB per month. There are extensions for firefox and chrome that make it easy to take notes. it synchronizes your file across computers and applications suuch as mobiles and Ipads. Its great for students teachers and photographers

Thanks for the heads up - this looks pretty interesting. I like that you can set it for local machine only if you have security concerns.

Go to the Computer Club's web site   GEEKS and do some searching on it. Or go to Shambles Guru's (Chris's) web site (CMPG member) and search. Chris has given some "lectures" on it and the club has had several discussion about it.
