Hi all.
I am in the market for a Nikon 85mm f/1.4D lens for an upcoming workshop in Spain. The best price I have seen in Thailand so far is 34,900 baht (approx. US$1,150.00). Anyone have any information on a cheaper price than that?

I actually found a used one at Photo Bug that was in pristine condition. Couldn't tell it from a new one other than the price.
The price I mentioined was on I had seen at a couple of shops here in CM. If you haven't checked with Photo Bug, I'd start there. Their prices seem to be competitive with most everyone else I have seen.

OK - thanks for the heads up David . I never thought of Thailand as being competetive on price for gear but this certainly is.

Hi Ellen
As best I remember, it was about 29,000 baht. It wasn't a hugh discount over new but was a good value. It came with the original box and all the paperwork. The only thing that would indicate it had been used were 2 small scrapes on the mount where it fits into the body. I have used it a few times since and it is just as crisp and responsive and brand new.
