Reference my comments at last nights meeting re the the luxury train The Eastern and Oriental Express. According to the web site, www.orient-express.com the trains arrives at Chiang Mai station at 08:30 23rd Feb. Should be a good photo opportunity, especially as it is £5.500 per person for the 7 day trip! Hope this is of interest, Martin

Here is the link I found detailing the itinerary for the Eastern Oriental Express that arrives in Chiang Mai on February 23.

I think taking photos of the passengers might be almost as interesting as in photographing the train itself. Personally, I want to see what someone looks like that has just spent nearly $9,000 to ride a train in Thailand.

For that kind of money, maybe the train will arrive on time.
