1. Every 2nd and 4th Saturdays, Mae Sai shuts down 1/2 of the hwy directly in front of the bridge to Burma and has a walking street. 26 July they erected a stage and had a contest with different young lady singers backed up by young lady dancers. Didn't ask, but they may have some kind of show each time.

2.   South of town a few km, west of the hwy, are some craggy mountains/cliffs with some interesting notches. Next to the hwy directly in front of the cliffs are rice fields being planted. When the mist and clouds are there, brillant green in some of the already planted plots, farmers planting other plots.......
