We'll be putting dates of all the meetings on this calendar and any changes will be flagged on the Home Page so you know to look to see if they affect you. LIkewise any photo opportunities or field trips. Anyone who is organising something of interest to other members (like a party, for example!!) can PM Mike or Wyndham and we'll add it to the calendar.

Muay Thai Boxing Training Center Field Trip
all day event
posted by JohnShedrick

The training session is between 5 and 6 pm.  It's an indoor event.  There will be two separate boxing rings, so they should be able to accommodate a good number of us.

Besides actual boxing, there should be a plenty of other worthwhile photo ops available.  I'm thinking warm-up, stretching, punching bags, etc.  You're only limited by your imagination.

In return for allowing us access to their training area, we're expected to share the images that we've taken with the Center.

Thanks to Olga Leskiw for suggesting and coordinating this event for us.

Directions:
Drive along Huay Kaew Road as if you're going to Doi Suthep.  Past the Canal Road (where the Phucome Hotel is located).  The very first street on the right is the street you want to go up.  There is a 7/11 on the corner.

Go up that street, there will be many vendors and it will be crowded, about 300 meters from Huay Kaew.  It's on the right hand side, almost directly across the street from FLORA HOUSE.

There are no fancy signs to let you know you have arrived, just a dark gray concrete brick wall....if you pass that wall, you have missed the place.

PS: If you're going toward the mountain on Huay Kaew, you will have to go up and make a U-Turn to get to that street....keep focused on the 7/11 store, that's where you have to turn.
